Luna Salento Bianco

Among the top in the world.

The infamous ‘Luna’ comes from an iconic Italian estate that has been inherited for 5 centuries — making it a noble Naples winery. It’s been regarded as one of the top wines in the world several times in different vintages by some of the most respected wine critics. A fun fact also worth noting is that in Japanese manga, The Tears of God, Conti Zecca’s ‘Luna’ was mentioned as one of the ‘best wines in the world’.

If you have not had a chance to bless your nose and palate with a glass of this remarkable wine… seize your chance while you can! Fortunate drinkers can confirm it’s not just the hype that keeps them storing several of these bottles.

Why This Wine

Among Top 6% of All Wines in the World

This 2018 vintage rates high for wine critics and Wine Lovers.

A Noble Naples Winery

Naples’ aristocratic winery since the 16th century. It has been inherited for more than 500 years and its ownership has never changed. It is one of the oldest wineries in southern Italy.

Naturally Brewed

Produced in famous terroirs in southern Italy, adhering to the principle of sustainable development, respecting the laws of nature, and brewing. From the vineyard to the bottle, minimizing the use of any artificial products.

The People Behind It

Conti Zecca

In 1580, François Jacques, a nobleman who was born in agriculture, began to cultivate grapes on this land. Eventually he made this area a well-known wine production area, and decorated the family crest on the outside wall of the winery.

Today, Zecca Alcibiade, Francesco, Luciano and Mario — the latest generation — is jointly managed and brewed by four family brothers. They are known as the “contemporary wine lords”.

The Region

Salento, Puglia, Italy

Salento is located in the southernmost part of Puglia. It is known as the “heel” of the Italian boot. The unique geographical conditions make the coastline on both sides of Salento perfect recipients for the Mediterranean sea breeze. This effectively relieves the high temperature in the summer and creates good ventilation conditions for the vineyards in the “Salento Greenhouse”.
