A Noble Naples Winery
Naples’ aristocratic winery since the 16th century. It has been inherited for more than 500 years and its ownership has never changed. It is one of the oldest wineries in southern Italy.
Produced in famous terroirs in southern Italy, adhering to the principle of sustainable development, respecting the laws of nature, and brewing. From the vineyard to the bottle, minimizing the use of any artificial products.
The People Behind It
In 1580, François Jacques, a nobleman who was born in agriculture, began to cultivate grapes on this land. Eventually he made this area a well-known wine production area, and decorated the family crest on the outside wall of the winery.
Today, Zecca Alcibiade, Francesco, Luciano and Mario — the latest generation — is jointly managed and brewed by four family brothers. They are known as the “contemporary wine lords”.
Salento, Puglia, Italy
Salento is located in the southernmost part of Puglia. It is known as the “heel” of the Italian boot. The unique geographical conditions make the coastline on both sides of Salento perfect recipients for the Mediterranean sea breeze. This effectively relieves the high temperature in the summer and creates good ventilation conditions for the vineyards in the “Salento Greenhouse”.
