The Willunga 100 estate released its first wine in 2005, and it took only two years to become famous in the international market. In 2017, it won the Gold medal of the UK Sommelier Grand Prix. It is McLaren Vale’s hottest new brewing star in recent years!
Intake rich aromas of ripe cherries and cedar, combined with notes of bay leaves. Savor flavors of blackcurrant and toasted oak, layered with complex tannins. The taste is delicate while the aftertaste is delicious and salty.

In 1839, the earliest European colonists formed a small town with 100 families. They settled in the Willunga region of South Australia and began to grow grapes. The winery and vineyards are all located there, so they are named after the ‘Willunga 100’ to commemorate those who reclaimed the place.
Skye Salter is a passionate and established winemaker who has spent much of her career working in South Australia. Skye took time to broaden her experience overseas, working vintages in Burgundy and Languedoc-Roussillon in France, and Canada’s chilly Okanagan region. Now she brings her expertise to Willunga 100.
